In my opinion, the dark picture really helps build up an atmosphere which helps the viewer to relate to the mood the the scene. All in all it creates a measurable impact- this is no doubt admirable. It's unique appearance really attracted my attention when I was on the home page. I'm not sure whether much more could be added (eg accessories or a more informative background) but on the whole, i am really impressed with this piece of artwork. I can extract a lot of information on the scenario and setting of this picture therefore it is affective and has had a big impact on me. I really liked it.
